The book is by a GS alumna, herself a mother of two Girl Scouts, former Honorary President of GSUSA, and someone who can sing a campfire song with the best of us!
She's someone who can get her hands dirty with some Girl Scout Juniors.
She knows that our older girls are great advocates!
The former FLOTUS has a lot to say about "you are good enough,” using
one's voice, and that it's ok to be a strong woman. She focuses
on children, including the importance of educating and mentoring
girls. We feel that her insights on her
own life and experience and being First Lady make this a book every Girl Scout Adult
can profit from reading.
I've put her book on my reading list. Can't wait!
