From Near and Far

I think GE 2014 set a record for attendees from the most states!  This year we had people from Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington State.  Imagine that!  Until this year Florida was the farthest attendee home state, but we broke that record just one year later.  We had 22 new attendees this year, so many mother/daughter pairs (and one trio, above) that I don't think we could count them (I can think of 9 without strain and it's only 7:30 am.)

Also, we had a few friends we've not seen in a while return this year, like Laura, Ann and Wynelle!  GE is a great place to retreat and reconnect.  If you have a photo or story to tell us, email it to  gsgreatescape@yahoo.com and let us know if we can print it here.

Home from GE 2014

I think all who were there will agree that GE 2014 was as close to perfect as it gets for us humans!  Mother Nature cooperated big time!  I'll try to post a photo every day for the next week or two so you can see what we did and made and ate and what fun we had.

So what did we do on Friday night?  We sang, we danced, we ate!
