Thanks from the GE committee to all who have ever attended the Great Escape and to all the workers who make the such a success.

What We Did

What do we do out there in the woods? Quilt, sew, crochet, read, color, cut, rest, or weave!

Commemorative Pin - 2016

This year, every GE attendee received one of these commemorative pins as a gift for attending the weekend.  My poor photography doesn't do the pin justice - it's three colors of enamel on a copper tone background.  It fastens with two pin backs because it measures 1.5 inches, diagonally.

The committee wanted to commemorate the longevity of the event - thirty five years is a long time!

We hope everyone enjoyed their gift.  If you missed GE this year, we will have some for sale for $5 each at next year's event.

Fall for Service 2016

The GSEM Alumnae Committee is sponsoring two more Fall for Service events.

They are partnering with Project Sweet Peas – Multiple Miracles for an afternoon of service, conversation and refreshments. Join us in making fleece blankets and knit hats to donate to families with children in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) in Boston-area hospitals.


Forever Girl Scouts are adults who were girl members, individuals who volunteered as adults and adults who wish to support the Girl Scout Movement. Please bring a friend and consider bringing a current girl member of Girl Scouts to Fall for Service. If you are also a leader, bring your whole troop!
